Swagbucks Rewards for Real?

This is one of our favorite programs for over five years now. I’ve been a member at SwagBucks since 2010 and have cashed out a fair bit of money. Money I’ve earned doing things I already do online. Here’s why I love this program so much.

What is Swagbucks?

Swagbucks is essentially a search engine that pays you in the form of ”swag bucks” for using it.  There are plenty of other ways to obtain swag bucks too, like taking surveys, playing games, and cutting coupons, but it’s a search engine at heart.  So, the draw is that you register and use their search engine instead of Yahoo or Google and they reward you with swag bucks that can be redeemed for gift cards and merchandise, or even cash (more of that below).

Signing up for Swagbucks is simple. Simply go to the Swagbuck’s page and either sign in with Facebook or fill out a simple form with your e-mail address and a password for your Swagbucks account. Registration is free!

Other Ways To Gain Points

However, your ability to gain points does not end with merely search queries. There are a ton of other ways to save and earn Swag Bucks:

1. Special Offers
You can earn points by signing up for special offers or registering as a user with some websites. They also have a daily NOSO (No Obligation Special Offer) that can gain you points. This is a special offer that involves no cost and no obligation to you.

2. Surveys
You can also earn Swagbucks by filling out surveys through their site. You’ll have to consider the time involved here when debating whether online surveys are worth it or not.

3. Shop
They also have a shopping section where you can earn one Swag Buck for every dollar that you spend there. At first, I didn’t expect to see “big” retailers there, but I was able to find quite a few well-known names. Walmart and Macy’s are there as well as lots of others.

4. Trade-In Program
They also have a very unique program where you can actually trade in your old cell phone or your old video game system for Swag Bucks. In fact, I have a few old cell phones that I plan on sending to them when I get around to it. I’ll at least get something for them in return!

5. Polls
They also have daily polls where you can gain Swag Bucks. Simply answer a few questions and you get the bucks!

6. Invite Friends
And of course, you can also increase your Swagbucks by inviting your friends to join. You can get up to 1,000 points per referral.

What Can You Win?

As I mentioned, you can redeem your points for a gift card, but there are other ways to also redeem your SB points.  Choices include:

  • Gift cards:  Choose from a wide range of retailers—Amazon, Target, Lands End, Chili’s, Starbucks, and many more.
  • Paypal (cash):  Get your points redeemed for cash via PayPal.
  • Sweepstakes entries: Spend your Swag Bucks on entries to win electronics & gift cards at the Swag Stakes section.
  • Donate your SB points to a charity: You can donate your accumulated SB points to charity.

Pros

It’s free to get started. That’s right. 100% free to create an account there. You’ll be in the doors and earning within seconds.

I’ve made over $800+ since joining. Doing things I already do online. I’m not getting paid to use a search engine. I get free cash-back on all of my online purchases. And best of all, I rack up cash just by watching videos online.

You get a $5 bonus just for creating an account. Fill out the signup form, get a $5 bonus offer. Not bad at all.

Use promo code IVETRIEDTHAT3 and get a surprise cash bonus. Enter in the promo code IVETRIEDTHAT3 when you create your free account and there will be a surprise bonus waiting for you in the members area.

Cons

It’s addicting. The more time you spend on the site, the more money you make.

“That doesn’t sound like a con…” I know, but I really can’t complain about ways to make free money online.
